Marina Škrapić
Marina Škrapić is a mathematics and computer science teacher from Šibenik and a mother of two teenagers.
She is a great lover of nature and hiking, a mountain guide, and a leader of hiking schools for children and high school students. Through her work with young people, she strives to encourage them to step outside the classroom and discover the world around them in a different, more direct way.
Whenever she can, she actively visits and explores Velebit, as well as some forgotten areas and trails of her Šibenik-Knin County. It was precisely this passion that gave rise to the idea for the “Čuvarkuća - Life Before Trail Markings” festival, which she launched with like-minded people. The festival brings the focus back to old trails, forgotten skills, and the way of life once lived by previous generations.
In this way, Marina connects education, nature, and tradition, bringing us back to ourselves and to our homeland. And her homeland, where her parents come from, is Perković, which includes Sitno Donje, Sitno, and Slivno.
For Guide Me, Marina takes us along a route she designed together with the Čuvarkuća team.
Marina, guide me...
