Primošten cycling challenge – Feel the rhythm of the coast, villages, and hills
The trail starts in the center of Primošten and heads in the direction of Split, following the coastline. After just one kilometer of riding through the town, you turn right at the school, where an almost 4-kilometer climb begins towards the village of Supljak, where the road finally levels out. The route continues through the village towards a crossroads where cyclists are asked to be extra careful because of poor visibility. At the crossroads, you need to continue straight towards Primošten burnji. A few hundred meters after the crossroads, the trail starts slightly uphill again, and with less flat sections, it continues like this all the way to Primošten burnji, which you can reach after a 10-kilometer ride. After passing through the center of the village, you need to turn right, or follow the signs for Široki and Kruševo. The road is wavy in this part and is interrupted by gentle bumps, passes through Široki and continues towards Bratski doć where at the crossroads (by the shop) you need to turn right towards Vezac, or Primošten. The route continues through Vezac towards Vadalj, where the downhill section that leads back towards Primošten begins. The descent is almost six kilometers long with shorter flat sections, and in the last section it is quite steep, so cyclists with less technical skills are advised to be careful.
