The museum-interpretation center of St. James Cathedral
The museum-interpretation center of St. James Cathedral, Civitas Sacra – The Holy City, is located in Galbiani Palace in the old town of Šibenik. Visiting this center is a unique opportunity to gain deeper insight into the phenomenon of the UNESCO-listed St. James Cathedral and the rich cultural heritage of Šibenik. On display are original works by Juraj Dalmatinac and Nikola Firentinac, valuable Baroque and Renaissance paintings, Nikola Vladanov’s polyptych, as well as liturgical vestments and utensils of the Šibenik diocese.
