Dražen Petrović monument

Dražen Petrović was one of the greatest European basketball players of all time. For the people of Šibenik, he was much more than that. His talent, work, and dedication inspired generations. As a result, a monument was erected in his honor as a lasting symbol of his connection to the city. The monument consists of three parts: the "Boy with the ball" sculpture, a basketball court where his genius is celebrated through the game, and a memorial room that showcases his beginnings in Šibenik. Additionally, there is the Šibenka Basketball Club fan shop, where visitors can find Dražen's jersey and souvenirs. Therefore, visiting the monument and playing at least one game of basketball on Dražen's court has become an essential part of any stay in Šibenik for basketball enthusiasts.
