The mills in Krka National Park are a unique part of Croatia's cultural heritage, preserving the tradition of pre-industrial water-powered systems along the Krka River. With their long history and economic significance, these mills symbolize the power of the area and were often the cause of conflicts. Today, the restored mills offer visitors a glimpse into traditional crafts such as grain grinding, wool washing, weaving bags, blacksmithing, and food preparation in an old kitchen. Some mills have been turned into exhibition spaces, where you can enjoy the exhibits "The Story of Water" and "Industrial Architecture Along the Krka River".
