Port of Šibenik
The narrower port area has several berthing quays. The Croatian Navy Quay is 200 m long and serves for the docking of passenger ships and yachts. Dr. Franjo Tuđman Quay is 230 m long and is intended for yachts and daily charter vessels. The Krka Pier is 100 m long and used for passenger ships and yachts, equipped with water and electricity connections. It is exposed to SW and W winds, which can be dangerous for small boats. Currents range from 0.5 knots to 2.0 knots, depending on the Krka river inflow. Tidal amplitudes are between 0.2 and 0.4 m, while prolonged winds can raise sea levels to 0.7 m or lower them to 0.3 m.
