Punta Planka trail – an adventure through nature with breathtaking views
The trail starts in Dvornice near the local shop. From the start, it heads towards the sea through the settlement and after 850 meters it turns right where a gentle descent towards the sea begins. At the bottom of the descent, the trail changes from asphalt to macadam for a few hundred meters. Then it goes back onto the asphalt and turns left at that point. At 1.8 km of the trail, it turns right onto a short asphalt climb of 300 meters. At the top of the hill, beautiful views of Punta Planka open up. After a short section along the top, there is an asphalt downhill towards the sea. At the bottom of the descent, the trail no longer follows the asphalt but continues straight along the macadam. At 3.3 km of the trail, a small, steep short climb awaits you, and immediately a few hundred meters after that the road forks left and right, and at that point you need to turn left onto another steep climb. Before reaching the settlement, at 5.5 km of the trail, you need to turn left down. After a short downhill, the most beautiful section of the trail awaits you around the peninsula, where you can enjoy beautiful views the entire time. Upon returning to the settlement, there is a left turn to Punta Planka, which is a few hundred meters away. From there, the same route is taken back, and the path continues through a labyrinth of streets, slowly descending towards Ražanj, and then following the coastline and winding along the beach. In the summer months, you can expect crowds here. At the eighth kilometer, turn right onto a very steep asphalt slope about 500 meters long. The path flattens out when you reach the main road, where you need to turn left. After a few hundred meters, turn right onto a wide gravel road. At the first and then the second intersection you will come across, you need to turn left, and the path leads you back to the starting point. When you get out onto the asphalt, turn left and you reach the starting point.
