Where history meets the timeless beauty of Krka.
At the top of the “horn” above the Među gredama canyon, where the Krka River flows into Visovac Lake, stood the Rogovo fortress, once held by the Šubić family. Today, a viewpoint offers stunning vistas of Roški Waterfall and Visovac. Historical records from the 14th century list Rogovo as the property of Duke Budislav Ugrinić. It was taken by the Ottomans in 1522 and never restored. Its memory lives on in Mateo Pagan’s map and the nearby waterfall named after the fortress.
