St. Nicholas' Fortress is located within the protected natural area of St Anthony's Channel. The fortress can be reached by boat, from the location "Fortress of St. Nicholas - Info center" in Šibenik. The tour begins at the Šibenik waterfront according to the predetermined boat schedule and timetable.

Fortress was built in the 16th century. Its appearance is so impressive that after its construction, Šibenik was never attacked from the sea. It is a monument of world architectural heritage in the Mediterranean. In 2017, it was inscribed on the UNESCO World Heritage List.

Boat ride through the St Anthony's Channel is attractive as much as  the fortress itself. Visitors can see the panoramic view of Šibenik, steep cliffs, entrance to the cave where priests - hermits once lived and the mysterious military tunnels that the people in fear called "Hitler's eyes". St Anthony's Channel is a natural phenomenon that captivates with its appearance and unusual living world at the meeting point of the Krka river and the sea.

St Nicholas' Fortress  is one of the locations where the series Game of Thrones was filmed.
