A winning ride through rocky heights and natural beauty
The trail begins at the point where the old Napoleon road from Krčič to Kijevo turns right to the hamlet of Mirkovići. Right at the beginning, a steep asphalt climb of 650 meters awaits you. At the point where the asphalt ends and the macadam begins, there is a short flattening, and then a long climb that takes you into the heart of Dinara. Upon arriving in Mirkovići, you do not enter the village, but turn right onto the planned trail. The higher you climb, the more rocks and technical details there are, so an electric bike or full-suspension bike is recommended for this trail, because in places the climb is technically very demanding. At the sign in the forest, there is a fork, and at that point you stop following the "main road" you came on and turn right onto a small narrow road that starts as a single track and later widens. This is followed by a ride on a small plateau, then a long macadam descent. At the bottom of the descent, upon reaching the first larger plateau, do not continue straight, but turn left. There is a sign at that point, but the turn is quite poorly visible, so we recommend caution in that part. A large meadow follows, after which you again go uphill along a wide forest road. After that, the descent towards the Cetina begins, and finally you come out onto the asphalt where you need to turn left. After driving on the asphalt, you enter a small forest, where after a while you come out onto the asphalt again where you go left. After a few hundred meters of driving on the asphalt, you need to turn right again at the sign, which is poorly visible, so please be careful. After driving through the forest, go left and immediately after a few meters to the right. A slightly bumpier part of the path follows, and then you reach the village. At the bottom of the asphalt downhill, you need to turn left towards the source of the Cetina, which you will soon see. You return along the same road and from the point where you turned left a moment ago, continue straight towards Kijevo. Arriving in Kijevo near the school, you need to turn right towards Dinara, and then you descend first on asphalt and then on macadam towards the starting point.
