Winery MI has been operating since 2007, and the name MI comes from the initials of its founders Maja (M) and Igor (I). In 2006, both Maja and Igor made their own Babić wines, branded as Maja and Dok (Igor’s last name is Dokić). After tasting each other's wines, they realized their styles were almost identical, so they decided to continue making wines together. In 2010, Maja and her husband Vojo completed the construction of the wine cellar, where all their wines are processed and stored.
