Starting from the south along the coast, your first stop is the Primošten wine region, birthplace of the bold red variety Babić. This area is known for its harsh, stony terrain, abundant sunshine, and minimal water – creating unique growing conditions. The Bucavac vineyards, part of a protected landscape, are a timeless monument to human perseverance, where every handful of soil was wrestled from the rock.

Just north, near Jadrtovac, the newest Babić vineyards stretch across crushed stone bathed in sunlight. Here you’ll find Testament Winery, known for its bold, expressive wines and contemporary take on tradition.

In Šibenik, visit Vinoplod Winery – a true symbol of local winemaking heritage. For decades, it has cultivated indigenous grape varieties and produced wines that connect the region’s rich history with the spirit of modern Dalmatia.
Heading north along the coast toward Vodice, in the atmospheric setting of the archaeological site Prižba, lies Baraka Winery. A few kilometers further, in Vodice itself, stop by Birin Winery, a favorite among locals.

Cross the Tisno Bridge onto Murter Island and visit Slamić Winery, a hidden gem in the village of Tisno. Complete your coastal wine journey just up the road in Pirovac, at the welcoming Livaić Winery.

Along the Green Wine Route, you’ll visit small, family-run wineries in the hinterland, where tradition and authenticity go hand in hand. These wines reflect the character of the land – shaped by stone, soil, and the scent of Mediterranean herbs that surround the vineyards.
In Plastovo – often called "Croatia’s Tuscany" – you’ll find a thriving wine region home to award-winning winemakers. Here, indigenous varieties like Debit and Maraština flourish, earning accolades from wine experts and enthusiasts across Croatia and beyond. As you explore the charming villages along the Krka River, you may find yourself falling in love with this landscape, too.

Venturing further inland towards Drniš and Razvođe, you’ll discover intimate family estates, where warm hospitality, rich history, and rural heritage make every tasting feel like a special occasion.
At Vizzulin Winery, try their seductive Merlot, the delightful Maruška (made from the native Maraština grape), and a refreshing Pošip, grown on the sun-kissed southern slopes of Mount Promina, where the Mediterranean meets the continental thanks to the nearby Čikola River.
In Razvođe, not far from Roški Slap, you’ll be warmly welcomed at Ško Vina and OPG Duvančić.
